Experience a world of winter magic in Kew Gardens as our acclaimed light trail, Christmas at Kew, returns this festive season.
From November to early January, discover 3km of enchanting illuminations, featuring over 20 dazzling installations, including some cherished favourites and exciting new displays. Stroll through glittering tunnels, admire vibrant lakeside reflections, and marvel at trees gleaming with jewel-toned lights. Wander by the fire garden’s warm glow, enjoy larger-than-life illuminations, and keep an eye out for Father Christmas!
Christmas at Kew is an unmissable opportunity to celebrate Christmas and welcome in the New Year as you walk through a botanical world brimming with seasonal sparkle.
No evening at Christmas at Kew would be complete without a festive treat from our independent food vendors, offering hot food, sweet treats, spiced winter warmers, hot chocolate, toasted marshmallows and more.

- There’s limited capacity with timed entry to Christmas at Kew so plan now to secure the date and time of your choice.
- The Gardens close at 10pm.
- Last entry between 7-8pm depending on entry gate. Last entry on Christmas Eve is up to an hour earlier.

- Quiet Access sessions are available on the following dates: 30 November, 3, 18 and 28 December. These sessions are suitable for visitors with hidden disabilities, such as autism, to make for a more comfortable visit whilst still benefiting from the sensory elements of Christmas at Kew. We ask that other visitors respect the quiet sessions and do not book during these limited time slots. Book Quiet Access sessions.
- Bicycles, tricycles, roller skates, skateboards, micro-scooters, balance bikes and other vehicles (except powered wheelchairs) aren't permitted at this event and must be left at the gates.
